Description & Defining

GLC Paints needed a stronger relationship with the professionals who use its products every day, the “Ostawat”, Egypt’s community of skilled painters. Instead of communicating only with end consumers, the brand wanted to recognize and empower the craftsmen who influence product choice on real projects.

The challenge was shifting communication from a traditional product-focused approach to one that genuinely speaks to professional painters, their language, their pride in craftsmanship, and their real work environment.

Ramadan Riddles That Turned Engagement Into Community

During Ramadan, we launched a daily Ramadan Riddles series designed specifically for the Ostawat community. The riddles combined industry knowledge, humor, and culturally relevant moments that painters could instantly relate to. Each post encouraged participation, discussion, and friendly competition among painters across the community. To amplify engagement, winners received valuable prizes and rewards, turning the experience into more than just content — it became a moment the audience looked forward to every day during Ramadan.

From Product to Practice

To support product understanding and professional application, we also produced a series of studio-based video tutorials demonstrating the correct use of GLC products. These tutorials focused on real application techniques, helping painters improve results on-site while positioning GLC as a trusted source of professional guidance.
